We’re Looking for a Learn to Play Coordinator

There is nothing quite like the sight of a U7 practice. Between the oversized helmets, the enthusiastic (if slightly directional) base running, and the sheer joy of finally hitting the ball off the tee, our Learn to Play program is arguably the cutest place to be on a Tuesday evening.

To keep these future stars shining, the Airdrie Angels are looking for a Learn to Play (U7) Coordinator to join our team for the upcoming season!

This position is the perfect fit for a parent or guardian who already has a child in the U7 program. Since you’ll be at the diamond anyway cheering on your little athlete, why not take a seat at the heart of the action?

You don’t need to be a fastpitch expert to excel here. This role is all about organization, community, and making sure our youngest players have a blast. You’ll have the full support of our Board of Directors every step of the way—we handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on the fun stuff.

What’s Involved?

• Team Coordination: Act as the point of contact for our U7 families and help organize our small squads (typically up to 4 teams).

• The Look: Hand out those adorable jerseys and see the pride on the kids' faces when they officially become "Angels."

• The Schedule: Keep an eye on the session times to ensure everyone knows where to be and when (again, with help from the Board).

• The Big Finale: Plan and host the season-ending wrap party! Usually a sunny afternoon BBQ, this is the highlight of the year where we celebrate every hit, run, and smile.
